The Conero bluff is a geological paradox rolled toward the Adriatic sea on the day in which the Appennines emerged from the terrestrial magma. Thus, a wonderful environment for growing red grapes was paradoxically created by the sea.

A microclimate continuously renewed by the sea breezes and a limy soil that is poor but with a great structure, allow the Montepulciano wine to express a characteristic in the Rosso Cònero impossible to find elsewhere. Along the Rosso Conero routes, a traveller who forces his way through the broom bushes, wild strawberry trees and privet bushes, may discover the little wines that, sometimes clinging silently to impassable ridges, sometimes lying voluptuously on gentle hills, make each Rosso Conero a cru worthy of discovering and tasting in the splendid cellars dotted around the territory.
